Amazed by the beauty of the Hungarian capital, American artist Paul Jackson decided to create a giant painting of Budapest.
If you have ever lived in Budapest, or have been here once or several times, we are sure that you agree with us: the city is simply amazing. It fascinates thousands of people from all the corners of the world every day, with its unique charm and beauty.
American artist Paul Jackson must have felt the same, because he decided this year to create an immense watercolour painting, presenting the Hungarian capital. On the painting, we can see the city from above: the two sides of the Danube, the river itself with the bridges and for example the building of the Parliament, as well.
The artist posted several photos on his Facebook page, presenting the different stages of creation, from the first lines on a white canvas till the almost ready work of art. It is really interesting that he posted the first picture on 15 March, which is the Memorial day of the 1848 Hungarian Revolution and Independence War, and the last one just days ago, in May.
Take a look at his amazing watercolour painting about Budapest.
