With his latest album, Moon Landing, James Blunt wanted to go back to basics, and to rediscover all the things he loves in making music. You can hear the result of all his work during his next concert show, on 27 October in Budapest.
If you visit Budapest in these days, and you would like to spend a nice evening with heart-warming music, then don’t miss James Blunt’s concert show on 27 October in Budapest Arena (Papp László Budapest Sportaréna).
The concert is part of the well-known singer’s Moon Landing Tour, where he promotes his new, fourth studio album. In an interview, he said that this album is really unique for him, and that the songs reflect his desire to go back to basics.

“It's an album about dreams, longing, first love. About getting back to basics and rediscovering the power of music to communicate emotion directly and honestly. There’s just something romantic, old-school and lonely about moon landings. A nostalgic memory of something huge that we can hardly believe we once achieved, and for some sad reason, can't achieve again – like first love” – he writes on his website.
James Blunt, who already had a concert in Budapest in 2008, thinks that we can’t go back to the start, but there are some things we can rediscover. And he is grateful to the music, because as a teenager, he found freedom in that. “It's a way of dreaming, a way to express who you are to the audience, but just as importantly, to yourself. It has taken me a while to understand it, to feel it again - and start dreaming again” – he added.
