The Red Bull Air Race Tournament is already in full swing, and even though the Hungarian race will be in July, now we tell all you need to know about the world's largest flying show.

To start at the beginning: The Red Bull Air Race World Championship is an official World Championship, accredited by the FAI – The World Air Sports Federation. Since it was officially launched in 2005, it became globally renowned as the fastest and most exhilarating motorsport on the planet. The initial goal was to create the most advanced aerial challenge the world had ever seen; but the implementation has far exceeded any original expectations. The Red Bull Air Race quickly became a visual spectacle unlike any other: a combination of high speed, low altitude and extreme maneuverability that makes the sport accessible only to the world's most exceptional pilots.

The event became so big, that this year competitions are held in 8 cities of the world, and the championship is divided into 2 sections. 14 pilots are competing in the Master Class category for the title of 2015 Red Bull Air Race World Champion, but the he Challenger Cup also returns for 2015, which offers a great opportunity to the new generation of talented pilots to experience the thrills of the sport.

During the race the pilots have to navigate an aerial racetrack featuring air-filled pylons in the fastest possible time, incurring as few penalties as possible. These specially designed racetracks are a result of extensive research and evaluation: safety and durability was primary concern. They are made from unique inflatable pylons, and are constructed to be robust and safe in the event of a pylon hit and can be repaired and re-inflated within minutes.
