1. Chezch Beer Festival
The 8th Czech Beer Festival is a real good opportunity to taste fine Czech beers and food. But if you insist on tasting something Hungarian, then try local craft beers: choose something from the offer of the “Magyar ház” (Hungarian house) pavilion while listening to the performers of the concerts organized there.

2. VinCE - wine, gastro and music festival
You can find several festivals this summer, at Lake Balaton, too – for example VinCE wine, gastro and music festival in Balatonfüred. Enjoy the taste of a good wine or “fröccs” (red or rosé wine with some soda), the atmosphere of a cozy summer night at the Balaton, the cultural and music programs, and last but not least, the well-known Kékszalag Sailing Competition.

3. Truffle Feast
You can get all the information about truffles in Jászivány, at the Truffle Feast this August, during the countless programs organized there. You can taste several dishes made with truffle, or try truffle ice cream, take a walk at the truffle- and artisan market, see the open kitchen and the competition for truffle sniffer dogs.

4. Egri Bikavér Feast
History, culture, numerous programs and of course good wines will alloy in the Egri Bikavér Feast, which was named after the worldwide known wine, Egri Bikavér. The event is great choice for those who like to mix travelling, culture, fun and culinary pleasures. For those who arrive with kids, there will be several family programs, as well.

5. Budapest Wine Festival
Would you like to taste wine from the best Hungarian wineries? Then schedule a trip to Budapest from 9 to 13 September, when the well-known Wine Festival will be organized here. Many of the best wine makers will present their products – you can taste and buy wines you desire. This year, you can taste the best of Italian wines and gastronomy, too.
When, where? From 9 to 13 September in Buda Castle
Our tip: If you visit Budapest in September, we suggest you to check out the best wines in Budapest Wine Festival, then visit Szolnok for a traditional goulash. You can taste it at the Szolnok Goulash Festival, organized there on the second weekend of September.
