Smoke + Mirrors is the name of Imagine Dragons’ current concert tour, that arrives to Hungary on 20 January 2016. If you will be in Budapest at that time, don’t miss their show.

I remember the first time when I heard Imagine Dragons; I was watching TV and chatting with a friend in the dining room when we started to ask each other what this great music could be. It sounded really well, so it made us curious. We took our smartphones, touched for Shazam, then we learned that we hear is “Radioactive” from Imagine Dragons. We liked it so much that in a couple of minutes, we started to browse the internet for some more information about the band.

So we learned that four guys formed this American alternative rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. Their lineup consists of lead vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne "Wing" Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman. Their debut studio album is called Night Visions, released in 2012 and their first single was “It's Time”. The band's second studio album Smoke + Mirrors reached number one on the Billboard 200, Canadian Albums Chart, and UK Albums Chart. Furthermore, Billboard named them “The Breakthrough Band of 2013”, and Rolling Stone named their single “Radioactive” ‘the biggest rock hit of the year’. And that’s not all: MTV called them ‘the year's biggest breakout band’. They have won awards at American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and a Grammy Award, as well. What a success!

In February 2015, Imagine Dragons announced they will be bringing their electrifying live shows back on the road for the Smoke + Mirrors Tour 2015. The tour is in support of their new album which is also called Smoke + Mirrors, and was released in February 2015 in the US.

Their tour started with a preview show in Sydney, Australia on 17 March 2015 before the tour officially kicked off in Santiago, Chile on 12 April 2015. It continued in America, Asia, Oceania, and will end in Europe in February 2016. So far, the band has planned to play 108 shows. For this year, they had the last Smoke + Mirrors concert in Zürich, Switzerland on 24 November and the show goes on from 14 January with their Luxembourg Rockhal show.

They arrive to Budapest on 20 January, and their concert begins at 8 pm in Budapest Arena. Don’t miss their show if you like their sharply crafted beats and the frenetic energy of life of their rhythm-driven rock music.
