The biggest fans of Red Hot Chili Peppers have already started the countdown until 1 September, when their favourite rock band returns to Hungary after two decades.
After 20 years, the Red Hot Chili Peppers will be back in Budapest again. The band’s local fans have already marked September 1st in their calendars: this will be the date when they can finally see their favourite rock band on stage in Budapest Sportarena (again).
We are sure that the tickets will be sold out for the show because RHCP is one of the most successful bands in the history of rock who haven’t visited Hungary for a long time.
And the quartet - singer Anthony Kiedis, bass player Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer - is really successful: they have been selling over 60 million albums, including five multi-platinum winners. They have won six Grammy Awards and inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in April 2012.
RHCP’s new album ‘The Gateway’ will be released on 17 June so if you are planning to be there at the show, you might be happy to know that there will be plenty of time to learn the new lyrics to sing along with your favourite band.
Let us assure you that they are still good live:
