Several Hungarian wines were awarded at the prestigious annual wine competition called ‘Monde Selection’ in Brussels recently.
Three Hungarian wines were awarded grand gold quality labels and several others with gold labels at the prestigious competition called Monde Selection in Brussels, Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu writes.
At the annual competition, organized first in 1961, 70 expert judges decided which wines should have the awesome grand gold quality labels. This year, Hungarians did extraordinarily well: three Hungarian wines received grand gold quality labels while several others got gold qualifications.
These wines are Pannon Tokaj Aszú 5 Puttonyos Sweet 2014 from Pannon Tokaj winery and Varga Aranymetszés Szürkebarát 2015 and Varga Royal Egri Hárslevelű 2017 – both from Varga Winery. The latter already won gold medals in Paris and Berlin in March.
