Summer has arrived to Hungary, so the beer enthusiasts have already found their old favourite beer gardens and breweries, or they have new ones on their lists to visit during the hot days in Budapest. Let us show you the best beer places where you should go while staying in the city.

Léhűtő

If you like Czech and Hungarian beers, and a nice terrace to enjoy some of your favourite drinks, choose Léhűtő at Gozsdu Court. The place has an always rotating offer of Hungarian craft beers and imported bottled beers from Czech Republic (Primator) and Bavaria (Weihenstephan).

Paulaner Beer House

Mom Park also offers a nice place to try cool beers. In Paulaner Beer House, there are eight different Paulaners on tap, including the Paulaner Hefe-Weissbier. This is a natural wheat beer, and the brewery's best-selling product, as well. If you are hungry, taste the Bavarian specialties offered by the kitchen of the beer house.

The Caledonia

Voted the Best British Bar in Hungary by The Telegraph, the Scottish pub called Caledonia is also known for its selection of whisky, but the fans of draft and bottled beer can also find their favourites here. Are you hungry? Choose Scottish or Hungarian dishes, you won’t regret it. If you are an expat, and/or a soccer fan looking for somewhere to watch a match while enjoying a pint, choose The Caledonia.

Legenda Sörfőzde Pub

Intense and strong beers and ales can be found in Legenda Sörfőzde Pub. The names also have a message about the beers: Pokerface Pale Ale, Black Jack IPA, Brutal Bitter... but if you are a fan of craft beers, especially sour-cherry tasted ones, Legenda is a “must-visit” place for you in Budapest because this type of beer there is legendary!
