5 reasons to try Vapiano
Posted by Mia Balogh · Jan 20, 2016

You can always have a good reason to go to a Vapiano restaurant. We have five good reasons to do so, let us tell you all of these.

Several spots in the city

There are several Vapiano restaurants in the city. You can find one at Fashion Street (5th district, Bécsi Street 5), one in Buda at Bécsi Road (2nd district, Bécsi Road 33-35), one in MOM Park (12th district, Alkotás Road 53) and one in WestEnd City Center (6th district, Váci Road 1-3). So wherever you are in the city, your path may lead to a Vapiano.

Something different

That’s what you will feel right after arriving, when you will get a plastic card and if you haven’t been in a Vapiano before, someone will explain to you how things work in these restaurants. The most important thing is that you can see how your selected dishes are made right behind a glass, and that you only pay at the end. Their smart-card payment system means that your consumption will be booked on the plastic card you got right at the arrival. When you have finished, you give this to the person at the pay desk, and pay for your consumption with bank card or cash. It might sound a little bit complicated but if you are there, it comes automatically. If you haven’t been at a Vapiano yet, they will help you in everything.

See and smell what you will eat

Pastas, pizzas, antipasti and salads are ordered directly from the chefs at the individual stations in the middle of the Vapiano. As I have already mentioned, the chefs prepare all of the dishes in front of the guests so you can be sure that your meal is made as you wish, with fresh high quality ingredients. After seeing and smelling your dish in preparation, you will feel that you can’t wait to taste it!

Try their menus

They always have special daily menus, in January you can taste for example Pasta Milanese on Mondays, or Pizza Prosciutto e Pepperoni on Fridays. It means one dish with lemonade or with a mineral water for 1500 HUF only.

Internationally loved

The first Vapiano opened its gates on 22 October, 2002 in Hamburg, Germany. Two years later, the founders decided to set Vapiano on a world tour as a franchise concept. It was a good idea: today there are already over 150 Vapianos in 29 countries on 5 continents, and many more international openings are planned for the future. Guests like these restaurants because all of them are a fascinating mix of good fast food restaurants, quality and elegance. And of course we can’t forget about the really good Italian food and their philosophy. According to an Italian proverb, “If you have an easy-going and relaxed approach to life, you’ll live more healthily and longer” – it is followed by the guests, and the staff, the Vapianisti, too.

Extra tip: I have been to Vapiano restaurant in WestEnd City Center with my boyfriend. We arrived for his birthday dinner but we had to hurry a little bit because we didn’t check the closing time of the restaurant: we arrived at 21:30 and this Vapiano closes at 22:00. So I really suggest you to check the opening and closing times via internet before you visit a Vapiano for a delicious dish. http://vapiano.hu/
