Csendes Csemege: delicacy of old times
Posted by Budnews · Oct 12, 2017

Csendes Family has its new member in 5th district.

Csendes (=quiet) family is a well-known brand in the capital. It’s a catering company established 8 years ago, and for now, they have 5 units. All of these places are located around Károlyi garden, a beautiful public garden is the downtown and each one has its own thematic. There is a Csendes Vintage Bar, Csendes Társ Wine Bar, Csendes Concept Store, CsendesM Vegan Bistro, and the newest: Csendes Csemege. This last one, the newest family member offers a selection of homemade, local products, including fresh bread and pastries, marmalade, honey, spices, wines, fruit juices and some more delicacies.

The peculiarity of the shop - besides, of course, that they only buy goods from Hungarian producers and manufactures - is that if you liked something in another Csendes unit, you can buy the exact same ingredient, wine, juice, spice etc. here. If you consumed a delicious domestic wine, beer, pálinka or bio-liqueur in a Csendes place, buy them here and take home as gifts.

The store's supply is constantly changing and growing, depending on the season. Every day fresh bakery products arrive from Panelpék & Panificio il Basilico bakery, and several types of flour are also available: each of them come from a small mill. Vegetables and fruits come from the MagosVölgy Ecological Farm, and they also sell eco-cleaners, goat's milk soaps, hypoallergenic deo-creme, body scrubs and shower baths are also available.
