Summer will be hot, just like the new beachwear collection from Calzedonia – check it out here.

What to wear on the beach this summer? If you have already been thinking about this, we think you might be inspired by our article and some photos, about the next beach trends from Calzedonia.

The Italian brand presented its next beachwear collection for the press recently in Verona. The amazing show opened by the supermodel Sara Sampaio showed multiple swimwear types, colours and prints which will be fashionable on the beach in summer 2014.

Let’s take a look at the next beachwear trends from Calzedonia.

The colours of the sea and the prints, especially the animal- and floral prints will be extremely in fashion this year.

If you are brave enough for experimenting, you can try one of the most beautiful metallic pieces from the Calzedonia 2014 Beachwear collection.

Do you like colours? You can play with them this year: choose a colourful bikini and wear it with a white skirt or sparkling jewellery.

If you prefer simplicity to colours, patterns or prints, choose a simple black swimsuit for the beach. It will be your favourite this year, and it is a nice investment, as well, because you can probably wear it for several seasons.

Beach dresses and beautiful cover-ups make your beach sets perfect.

Strapless bikinis stay in fashion, just like swimsuits or trikinis – these ones change a bit, become even sexier and more unique.

Calzedonia has beachwear for men, too. For the boys, the designers dreamt a bit less colourful pieces than for the girls and a bit less prints. Most of the shorts are blue, green or grey, some of them with stripes.

Our tip:

If you would like to be really trendy on the beach this year, wear your bikini or swimsuit with some glitter make up, shining jewellery or bijous and accessories evoking the sea. For example a seahorse on your necklace, in your hair (as hair decoration on your bun) or on your beach bag would be totally in fashion.
