Strippers, Kalashnikov, pálinka – hilarious comedy comes out about Budapest this month

What happens in Budapest stays in Budapest – says a new French movie.

We know many films that have been shot in Budapest, but almost in all of them, Budapest „plays” a role of other European cities. But not this time! In a new French movie entitled ’Budapest’ our capital plays itself. Bachelor parties and pálinka, the everyday reality of the city center. This film is basically the French Hangover with a twist and presents the side of the city we are (sometimes) not too proud of.

The movie is about Vincent and Arnaud, who may have graduated in the largest French business school, but they are bored in their work. Vincent works hard for a multinational company without any recognition, while Arnaud stagnates in the business of his wife's father. On the occasion of the bachelor party of one of their friends, which become a real failure, they meet a stripper who tells them about Budapest. Vincent then has an idea that will change their lives: create a company that organizes bachelor parties in this city of debauchery, where clubs abound and alcohol flows freely.

After giving up their jobs and borrowing a lot of money, Vincent and Arnaud launch the business. With the help of Georgio, an expatriate who made them discover the "hidden treasures" of Budapest, they create the travel agency "Crazy Trips". After the rough beginning, "Crazy Trips" sends more and more customers to Budapest, to party, drink pálinka, dance with strippers, and also enjoy some activities offered by this country like driving tanks and shooting Kalashnikov on targets. But this entrepreneurial adventure will turn the existence of Vincent and Arnaud upside down... This new life between Paris and Budapest will test both their friendship, and also their relationships...
