Hungarian fashion brand conquers New York

Manta won a prestigious prize.

In 2018, Nanushka and Dori Tomcsányi sound familiar not only for Hungarian people, but also for fashionistas all over the world. And now - luckily - we have to memorize the name of another emerging Hungarian brand. This is the Hungarian fashion brand called Manta, which designs swimwear and swimming accessories from average people to professional swimmers.

And now the good news: the well-known Graphis Magazine in New York rewarded the Cartoon product line of Manta Swim Collection with gold medal! Manta reached this huge success in branding category from several hundred applicants. Strong competitors applied from Canada to Indonesia, so it’s a very big thing that Manta swimwear was chosen to be the best among these brands. There were such huge brands like Audi, Budweiser, Jacobs or the Hawaiian Airlines. And if it wouldn’t be enough, this is not the first time the Hungarian brand achieved international success: Manta Cartoon Collection has also been selected into the finalists of the Wiener J. Binder Award.

About the company: Manta is a 100% Hungarian company established in Budapest six years ago. Their products are designed in Hungary and partly produced in the country, partly abroad. It’s also interesting, that Manta Swim Ltd. gives the chance to one young designer every year to design a thematic swimwear collection for them. After the positive international welcome of the Hungarian Etno collection in 2014, the next big step was the appearance of FINA licensed Barracuda racing swimsuit in 2017. And now here comes the newest successful product line.

The new, award-winning collection includes women's, men's and children's swimsuits, the products are available in stores from mid-August, but everybody should also take a look at their former collections!
