First rooftop bar opened in Buda

An old friend moved to the other side of the Danube.

Rooftop bars have been popular for years, but Buda has been a bit behind in this trend until now. This is over, because Mammut Tető has opened on top of the Mammut shopping mall, ending these unfortunate states.

Actually, we can greet an old friend in the new place: Budapest Rooftop Cinema was moved in to the top of the mall, which used to operate on the Corvin roof, but had to move because of the closing. The new venue became the fourth floor rooftop terrace of Mammut shopping mall, which has been empty and unused over the past ten years. First this open-air movie theater opened here, than a few weeks ago, they found another feature besides the cinema: Mammut Tető also opened as a rooftop bar in the evening.

Mamut Tető opened on August 9, and offers Hübris handcraft beers, wines, various spirits, nachos and of course popcorn between 5 pm and 11 pm, as it is still operating as a cinema. Don't miss it, if you're in the Buda side of the city!
