Vienna and Prague will be available from Budapest also with the private company RegioJet’s trains.
According to magyarnemzet.hu, a Czech private railway company called RegioJet is going to operate trains between Prague, Vienna and Budapest from 31 July. They promise high-quality on-board service and lower prices than the Hungarian Railways.
They also promise that their ticket prices will be not only more affordable but there is also one more important detail: the prices won’t change before the departure. Furthermore, everybody will receive discounts.
On the trains, there will be three classes – supposedly that means three different ticket prices –, these are called standard, relax and business. But three things will be in common: each an every passenger will get a seat reservation, tea or coffee and can choose from several magazines and newspapers.
It is important to mention that travellers will be able to use these trains only for international journeys, so international tickets must be bought.
