Radically fewer flights depart and arrive in September.

Wizz Air has introduced the largest flight reduction in its history: from September only the most sought-after destinations are available to passengers.

According to the decision of the Hungarian government, from September 1, foreign citizens will not be able to enter the country due to the epidemic, and returning Hungarian citizens will face 2 weeks of mandatory quarantine. Due to the drastically reduced traffic, the Hungarian low-cost airline introduced a larger degree of flight reduction between September 7 and 30, during which only the most sought-after destinations will remain available to passengers.

The remaining flights between 7. and 30. September are the following (flight/week):

  • Budapest - Stockholm Skavsta 2
  • Budapest - London Luton 7
  • Budapest - Eindhoven 5
  • Budapest - Paris Orly 2
  • Budapest - Brussels Charlerooi 2
  • Budapest - Basel 2
  • Budapest - Milan Malpensa 2
  • Budapest - Athens 2
  • Budapest - Dortmund 2
  • Budapest - Berlin Schönefeld 2
  • Budapest - Malta 1
  • Budapest - Larnaca 1
  • Debrecen - London Luton 2

If Wizz Air canceled a particular flight, affected customers can claim 120% of the original fare in Wizz Air points, refunded to their Wizz Air account, or 100% refund according to the original method of payment, or passengers can choose a free booking option.
