Tamás Koncz-Bisztricz triumphed at Close-up Photographer of the Year contest, and three other Hungarians managed to be among the best, as well.

Young Close-up Photographer of the Year – this is the title, won recently by a 16 years old Hungarian talent, Tamás Koncz-Bisztricz. His photo called ‘Little Ball’ (Kis Gömböc), showing a Sminthuridae amazed the jury.

The young photographer’s achievement is even more mind-blowing because he only started to take macro photos last December, after visiting a successful Hungarian photographer, Csaba Daróczi. He convinced the young talent that close-up photography is really interesting and worth dealing with – sokszinuvidek.24.hu writes.

Three more Hungarians were awarded at the competition. Csaba Daróczi (Nature Photographer of the Year in 2019), Bence Máté (a well-known Hungarian nature photographer) and another young talent, Bori Papp, who is only 12 years old.
