The biggest book of the world is an immense creation really worth seeing - let us tell you a little bit more about it.

I really like reading and hearing about success stories of Hungarian people, inventions or other creative ideas. A few days ago I heard about the biggest book of the world that happens to be Hungarian.

The enormous creation’s size is 4.18 x 3.77 metres that is several times bigger than an average book we usually read. So is its weight: the recorder book weighs 1420 kilograms. It was made of oxhide and contains 346 pages.

It took several years to create this giant book, but in the end, it was ready for 21 March 2010. It is also acknowledged by the Guinness World Records as the biggest book of the world.

If you would like to see it, you should travel to Szinpetri, in the Aggtelek National Park that can be found in the Northern region of Hungary. The book is placed in the local watermill in Szinpetri.

On its cover, you can see a salamander and in the book, you can find some details about the history of this region, the local stalactite caves, fauna and flora, and other natural treasures, as well.
