Puszta 17 – that’s the name of the formation of the 17 horses that have set a Guinness record with wrangler Gábor Besze.
On Sunday 24 July, tourists and locals gathered in Bócsa, Bács-Kiskun at Vincze Riding-hall to see an amazing production. A wrangler, Gábor Besze pulled off his Puszta 17 show there – it means that during the acrobatic and really dangerous production, he was standing on the back of two horses, while he controlled 15 more. They walked in step, after that, he rode them in a trot and gallop.
The performance set a Guinness record as the former recorder András Nagy rode “only” 16 horses in the same time in his Puszta 16 formation.
In the following Hungarian TV report, you can hear the wrangler speaking about the show (if you don’t speak Hungarian, he says that it took months to create this production), and you can have a sneak peak at his Guinness record setting performance, too.
