Tutankhamun's Mystery and Treasures showcases more than a thousand replicas of the mysterious world of Egypt.

Really unique exhibition opens in a few week in Budapest: it's Tutankhamun's Mystery and Treasures that takes us to the mysterious world of ancient Egypt. The 2200-square-meter exhibition shows the artifacts of the ancient Egyptian Pharaoh's tomb through authentic replicas of renowned Egyptologists. During the adventurous journey of time, visitors can see the magnificent treasures of the tomb as the British archaeologist Howard Carter first saw the objects in the twinkling light of a candle on November 4, 1922.

On an adventurous time-travel, the public can see Tutankhamun's death mask, the black jackal statue guards on his tomb, and the ushabti statues of around him. On the occasion of the upcoming centenary of the discovery, several extra artworks and surprises arrive to the Hungarian capital – says the announcement.

Venue: Komplex (1061 Budapest, Király utca 26.)

Date: November 8, 2019. – March 1, 2020.
