Budapest Spring Festival

The arrival of spring means the beginning of Budapest Spring Festival, as well. This year, you can expect great program offer from local and international talents. Concerts, theatrical acts, visual art presentations, exhibitions and several other programs will take place in multiple locations in the city.

Budapest’s century-old buildings are really worth taking a closer look at! You can participate in thematic guided tours, and even discover the secrets of these old houses by visiting their attics. This year, Budapest’s Nagykörút (“Grand Boulevard”) will be in the spotlight.

International Book Festival

Bookworms of the world, unite. Where? For example at the International Book Festival in Budapest, where you can take part in book launches, book-signing sessions, or you can enjoy roundtable discussions, concerts, theatre performances and movie screenings.

Rosalia

If you like rosé wines and champagnes, don’t miss Rosalia, the annual Rosé and Champagne Festival, organized in Gesztenyés Garden in district XII. Choose your favourite drinks and enjoy the most delicious street food and the finest jazz music.

Gourmet Festival

Try the best of Hungarian cuisine, taste the offer of Hungarian wineries and confectionaries, as well. If you are a gourmet, you can’t miss Gourmet Festival.

Rakéta (Rocket) Festival

Rakéta Festival is a great possibility to young artists to perform in Budapest’s coolest clubs – some of the bands have their first appearance then. Rakéta means rocket, suggesting maybe that the young artists can seize the opportunity at the festival and fly high.

Budapest Summer Festival

Music, theatre projects, circus shows, fascinating opera performances and much more waits for you this summer, in the grand amphitheaters at the Margaret Island and at Városmajor Park.

Night of the Museums

Do you remember the Night at the Museum movies? Well, we can’t promise you the same experiences as the ones you have seen in the films but we can suggest you to purchase a ticket for the Night of the Museums to enjoy the numerous cultural programs organized in several locations – for one night only. The thematic of the event this year focuses on “Heroes, explorers, and innovators”.

Beer Festivals

If you are a fan of good beer, let us offer you two great programs: Budapest Beer Festival will be organized in Buda Castle and Czech Beer Festival will take place in Szabadság Square. June can undoubtedly be the month of beer in Budapest!
