Food trucks will be placed on two iconic locations of Budapest

Soon we can have a good meal on the lower quay and in the City Hall Park.

Two frequented locations of the capital, the lower quay of Pest and the City Hall Park will be transformed into a real summer buffet for this season. The two locations will soon feature food trucks and mobile pavilions, and will be open for pedestrians. We can enjoy the food trucks on the quay on 18-19 July and from 25 July to 13 August, and in the Town Hall Park from 18 July to 13 September.

The purpose of the quay opening is on the one hand, that city dwellers should discover this part of Budapest as well, and on the other hand, to look at the city from a slightly different perspective. To be tourists where they live. During this period, the quay will be open to pedestrians, cyclists, dogs and families, bringing the Danube closer to those who live here.

Városháza Park (City Hall Park) is one of the busiest iconic downtown public spaces in Budapest. The final arrangement about the neighborhood is in progress, but in the meantime Budapest wants to create a solution that is a new experience for the people of Budapest and the tourists visiting here. This summer, the park awaits us as a “pop up” park with gastronomic and tourist services.
