These are the places you should visit if you want to take some beautiful pictures of the city.

Budapest is beautiful, but what if you want to capture this beauty on a photo? Fortunately, there are places in the city where you don’t have to be a very talented photographer to make a spectacular photo.

Halászbástya (Fishermen's Bastion)

One of the most classic sights in Budapest, where you can’t even turn the camera to a bad angle. It’s sure you will shoot something spectacular: Matthias Church on one side, panorama on the other, and of course the Fishermen's Bastion itself is a must-see sight.

Budai vár (Buda Castle)

Just a few hundred meters away, Buda Castle is also an unmissable place. The historic ruins, the beautiful panorama and the mesmerizing building that is illuminated for the evening have to be captured. If you really want to do good pictures, the best time for visiting is evening.

Gellért hill

Another mountain, just a short distance away: the city shows its best face is from the liberty statue on the top of the Citadel's, and it is also possible to make close-ups on the green slopes of the mountain. In clear weather you can see the whole city from here.

Margaret island

Standing on the end of the island, you can make a wonderful picture of the city split by the Danube. There will be almost all attractions on your photo from this strange perspective, and your friends will be amazed by the creative idea.

Váci street

If you want to concentrate on the bustle of the city, there is no better place than Váci Street. Thousands of colorful, lively images can be made here, which almost explode without any filters.
