Condé Nast Traveler has recently refreshed their list about the best rooftop bars in the world and the first in their compilation is a Hungarian spot.
Aria Hotel and High Note SkyBar on the top of the building have equally received international recognition and made their ways to illustrious lists all around the world. Recently, it was High Note SkyBar that was mentioned first in Condé Nast Traveler’s compilation. The original list was made in 2016, but the editors of Condé Nast have thought that it’s high time to refresh it.
‘This all-season rooftop bar combines the best of historic and modern Budapest. A cutting-edge, bi-level design—connected by a cantilevered, glass staircase—grants sublime views of the skyline and a front-row ticket to St. Stephen’s Basilica. Meanwhile the food and cocktail menu, overseen by the legendary c.1858 Gerbeaud Café, offers creations like the Chocolardier, a decadent mix of bourbon, campari, dark chocolate infused vermouth, chocolate liqueur, and Merry Poppies, a sweet-meets-savory blend of poppy seed infused whiskey, teriyaki, and citrus’ – they write about High Note SkyBar.
