The weirdest thing we’ve ever seen: lovechild of scooter and bicycle has arrived

And you can try it in Budapest, for example, instead of a classic scooter.

Imagine a long electric walking bike. Done? Don’t worry, we didn’t succeed at first neither. The thing we’re talking about is Lopifit, an innovative and a totally new way of moving and exercising. The „bike” has two wheels, like the classic one, but there is a treadmill built in. It combines the outdoor and indoor exercising, and it’s as much fun as weird feeling to ride. Lopifit is propelled by a 350W Samsung lithium-Ion battery which turns the treadmill while you walk (you don’t have to run). The battery will generate power for a typical rider to get 30 to 50+ miles per charge making the bike a viable form of local commute transportation. The display has a bar which shows you the status of the battery.

The electric assist in combination with the adjustable multi-speed gears boosts the riders walking pace to speeds equal to or greater than a regular bike. The rider chooses the gear/speed they want reaching speeds of 4 to 17 MPH. Has a maximum range of 40 to 60 miles at speeds up to 18 mph. It’s available in six different colors, the high quality robust powder coated steel frame made from sustainable material with usage comfort in mind.

So Lopifit is a really strange vehicle, but if you get used to feeling, it’s fun and a high cardio high-calorie burn exercise. And we left the best to the end: it’s available in Hungary, you can rent it here for 10 euro/hour (18 EUR/2 hours).
